His Holiness Abune Lukas Gives Benediction

Asmara 7 April 2018 – His Holiness Abune Lukas, General Secretary of the Eritrean Tewahdo Orthodox Church Synod, gave benediction in connection with Easter.

Explaining on the meaning of the Holiday, His Holiness wished happy Easter to the people of Eritrea inside the country and abroad, members of the Eritrean Defense Forces as well as the sick.

His Holiness Abune Lukas also called on the faithful to extend hands to the disadvantaged citizens and assist families of martyrs.

Noting that religious holidays are moments in which citizens demonstrate unity and respect one another, His Holiness underlined the need for transferring the noble culture to posterity.
