ERITREA Stages Tournament to help boost Volleyball

ERITREA STAGES TOURNAMENT TO HELP BOOST VOLLEYBALL

Lausanne, Switzerland, February 10, 2017 – The Eritrean Volleyball Federation has held a local volleyball competition in collaboration with the Eritrean Commission of Culture and Sports.

The competition proved to be an entertaining event and attracted a lot of fans. It featured nine men’s teams and the same number of women’s teams.

Among other organisations that helped sponsor the two-week competition were the Sports Department of the Ministry of Defense and the Board of Higher Education Institutions.

The tournaments are staged to help to spread the sport across the country and is considered a good opportunity to spot promising players.
