Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta will conduct official visit to Eritrea
According of ERiNA News, President Uhuru Kenyatta will conduct official visit to Eritrea in January 2019 at an initiation of President Isaias Afwerki.
President Isaias Afwerki invites President Uhuru Kenyatta during his visit to Kenya from 13-14 Dec. 2018.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta will visit Eritrea in January next year pursuant to the invitation extended to him by President Isaias Afwerki. President Isaias returned home in the late afternoon hours today after historic and fruitful visits to Somalia and Kenya.” Yemane G.M.
President Isaias conducted two-day official visit to Kenya and held discussion with President Uhuru Kenyatta on a number issues of interest to the two countries.
The two leaders noting the potential opportunities of cooperation between Eritrea and Kenya agreed to work to develop partnership in the trade and investment sectors as well as to the peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
The Eritrean senior delegation included Foreign Minister Osman Saleh, Presidential Advisor Mr. Yemane Gebreab and Director of the Office of the President, Mr. Amin Hassan.
