Harat Transportation Company expanding service

Asmara, 21 October 2019 – As part of the service expansion effort being conducted, Harat Transportation Company has opened new route linking Asmara with Shambiko. According to report, the opening of the new route is significantly contributing in alleviating transportation problem of the residents.

According to Mr. Niguse Gebrezgiabher, head of Operations of the Company, the opening of the new route is part of the effort being exerted to expand transportation services throughout the country with fair price.

The new route will connect Asmara, Mendefera, Areza, and Shambiko, Mr. Nuguse stated.

Mr. Kahsai Asrat, administrator of Shambiko sub zone, on his part stating that the opening of the new route will alleviate transportation problem in the area called on the public to ensure the safety and sustainability of the road.
