Vutomi Abigail Mabunda came to Eritrea twice during Independence celebrations

She is one of the most distinctive new voices of South Africa, and a tremendous live performer, Vutomi Abigail Mabunda came to Eritrea twice during Independence celebrations. She said the nominations came as a surprise.

“I feel so happy and overwhelmed because it’s a huge responsibility. I am grateful for everything but I am aware that this kind of accomplishment needs to keep happening. Whether I win or not, I view the recognition as a major milestone in my career and I expect to do more projects with musicians from other regions.”
