Eritrea: Champion of African Continental Cycling Championship

Asmara, 19 March 2019- Eritrea has become champion of the 14th African Continental Cycling Championship that was held from 14 to 19 March in Bahr Dar, Ethiopia.

Eritrea became the champion by collecting all the four gold medals in the Junior and Elite road races held today, 19 March.

In the four last stage races, the Gold medal winners from the Eritrean Cycling National Team include Desiet Kidane from the Junior women’s category and Mosana Debesai, from women’s Elite category, Henok Mulubrhan from the Junior men’s category as well as Mekseb Debesai from the Elite men’s category.

In the championship the Eritrea Cycling National Team has collected seven Gold Medals.
